2016 Dodge Ram 1500 SSV Police Pick-Up is Ready For Duty, Specs Revealed Here

The U.S. Police Force will have better chances at apprehending criminals now that the updated 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Special Service Vehicle is made faster, leaner, and boasts of technological upgrades. The specs are revealed here. Criminals, beware!

Since the year 2012, the 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 has been decimated at law enforcement agencies all over the country. As frequent as crimes occur in modern times, the police force is now more difficult to outrun that even sports cars may not stand a chance.

The Special Cop-Friendly Features

As reported by MSN, the model is that of a four-wheel drive pick-up truck that is loaded with a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 powered engine.  The 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Special Service Vehicle may also be availed with a shorter 3.92 final-drive ratio for better low-speed maneuverability along with an on/off road tires. The vehicle itself is able to accommodate larger units as it has 125 cubic feet crew cabin. Even the prisoners inside the vehicle can enjoy the stain-resistant cloth buckets which have all-vinyl hose-it-out-bench and vinyl flooring.

According to Car and Driver, the car also has a certified speedometer which will detect how fast vehicles are running outside, has two meters monitor engine which can run for hours, has a lockable RamBox which can house several firearms, first-aid kits, and other essentials.
