Hyundai Santa Fe V6 Gets Makeover, Runs Up To A Whopping 1040 Horsepower

A customized Hyundai Santa Fe automobile with several components taken from the Hyundai Genesis R-Spec, Hyundai Equus, and Lambda V6 models generated an impressive 1,040 horsepower to its engine. The said upgrades were claimed to be the best upgrade yet for the model, according to a Bisimoto personnel.

The SEMA show in Las Vegas is yet to begin but the Japanese car maker seemed to reveal awesome potential to its customized SUV - the Hyundai Santa Fe.

The Upgrades

As reported by Truck Yeah, tuner Bisimoto incorporated a 3.8 liter Lambda v6 engine into the Hyundai Santa Fe model. The addition made the vehicle garner 39 pounds of the boost thanks to the proprietary twin-turbo kit running Turbonetics TNX 30/56 Turbos.

Furthermore, its drivetrain was also customized with an RWD using a component from the Hyundai Equus rear differential. The vehicle ran with a six-speed manual transmission generated from a Hyundai Genesis R-Spec. In doing such, the 2200CC injectors were able to remedy the airflow into the vehicle. The updates generated 290 horsepower, according to the Bisimoto personnel that worked on the Hyundai Santa Fe V6 model.

In other news, Auto Blog reported that although the horsepower recorded was reported to have 290 horsepower as its stock capacity, the said updates made it capable of generating 1,040 horsepower - an impressive feature for the model by the time it would be showcased during SEMA show in Las Vegas this year.

Other updates to the model comprised of other Hyundai parts such as a custom rear sub-frame that were incorporated by Rothfab. Furthermore, it also has a flashy livery, big Buddy Club brakes, fifteen 52 wheels, KW coil-over suspension, Momo racing seats and that of a roll cage.

At present, the automaker is currently structuring the said customized Hyundai Santa Fe V6 model which will be ready in time for the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
