The Pagani Huayra BC has been spotted around the popular German track Nurburgring, dubbed as the "green hell". It does not seem that this Pagani is just ther for a good time as after an Industry Pool Testing Session, the track remained open exclusively for the hardcore hypercar and all indication points to it planning to break speed records.
It is worth noting that only the 20 Pagani Huayra BC has been made and all was sold for more than $2.5 million each. Now one of the lucky owners of one of the best supercars of today wants to break records in Nurburgring. Thanks to the track-obsessed guys at Bridge To Gantry (BTG) the Huayra can be seen in action going around the most famous corner of the track called the Carousel.

With its 789hp and an amazing pilot, Marc Basseng, a GT racing driver whose resume includes a few Ring lap records (think: Carrera GT or Enzo), Pagani's intentions may be a reality.
In response to the times, the goal is to beat the record made by the Porsche 918 Spyder model in less than 6 minutes. In terms of power, the Huayra BC falls short of the 918's 887 hp, with its 6.0-liter AMG twin-turbo V12. However, the Pagani is lighter and it has some serious downforce-generating features across the exterior so it may have a chance.
Yesterday, the Pagani Huayra BC clocked in seven minutes and that is not enough. Although this is only the beginning, it's about how it is finished. It can often take months for automakers to finely tune their vehicles for record-attempting laps so it still have time to regenerate.
Could it be possible that this famous track will have a new king? It might with an awesome pilot on the Pagani Huyra BC and the car's awesome performance too. However, Pagani one wanting to break speed records. Swedish rival Koenigsegg is doing exactly the same with the One:1 hypercar which recently crash into the track but is said to be back for another attempt.
One thing is for sure, this battle of the supercars is just too hot to handle.
