Kanye West New Instagram Account Gets More 500,000 Followers Instantly

Kanye West has finally decided to open his own Instagram account. So far, he has more than 500k followers (around 818k) just within hours after signing up.

His wife, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, has been so popular on social media, which could be the reason why Yeezus wanted to create a new account to impart his ideas, apart from his Twitter antics.

But instead of posting a selfie, the rapper shared an artsy photo without a caption. The very first post gathered more than 307k like and 47k comments as of writing.

West has been known for his eccentric ideas and rants, which are often posted on Twitter. He had earned enemies on social media, despite the fact that his family is controversial enough.

Mail Online reported that West has been contemplating on joining the photo sharing platform way back in March. He openly expressed his opinions via Twitter:

"My tweets are a form of contemporary art only compromised by people trying to tell me what to tweet and not to tweet," he wrote. He continued: "On another note, I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition - no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram," quoted by the website.

Kanye West is popular when it comes to interfering speeches. In 2009 VMA's he tried to grab the mic from Taylor Swift after she won the Best Video Female Award.

He said that Beyonce deserved the title. Hence far, it created a lot of controversies.

Then, in 2015, he tried to slam Beck during the Grammys after winning the Album of the Year. He insisted that Beyonce should have won. He later apologized to the fans after these incidents.
