Jeremy Clarkson Blows Up $5.3 Million Home, Upsets Neighbors

Jeremy Clarkson clearly isn't unlike anybody else out there. To what extent he is different from other mere mortals is evident from the simple fact that he blows up his own five bedroom house worth £4 million when he is in need of another.

For anybody else, that would have meant taking the house apart piece by piece. Or for those who'd loathe waiting that long would have employed a bulldozer to transform the entire property into a rubble.

Clarkson, with the particular type of sanity he ha,s clearly couldn't have opted for any of the more conventional options. So the best he did was to hire the services of an expert demolition team that brought down the house in just about an hour.

Sure there was noise and dust throughout the hour long ordeal. The 56-year old ex-Top Gear presenter informed his neighbours of his plans just the night before. Not all have taken too kindly of the development but what seems evident is that they have known Clarkson and his methods to be not too surprised any way.

There are also reports of a funeral being held nearby though they did not seem to be too bothered either. In any case, Clarkson also went through all the legal procedures to obtain the necessary permission for the outrageous idea of blowing up a house.

As for the reason behind all the madness, it is a new 1130 square metre house that is going to come up on the Cotswolds property. Likely to be named 'Diddly Squat Farm', It will have six bedrooms, five bathrooms, along with a cinema hall in the basement. Then there is going to be a parking lot with space for five cars along with a quadbike storage space, CarThrottle reported.

Going by Clarkson's job profile which has to do with automobiles to the core, anyone would have expected a much more elaborate set up for cars though it seems five is enough for him.
