2016 Toyota Tacoma Sales Increases, Unit Price Lodged At $41,700

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma has just upped the car model game and made available a few more specs with the Pro. Furthermore, the unit has also been increasing in sales in the car market today.

During the Chicago Auto Show, the car enthusiasts got a closer look at the new version of Toyota's Tacoma TRD Pro, reported Auto Blog. The latest specs consist of both aesthetic and functional upgrades to the unit.

The unit has a TRD-exclusive grille and badging, has one-inch wider track front and rear, has better front and back lights that are installed with black bezels, and las but not the lease, it has RIGID Industries fog lights. The 2016 Toyota Tacoma Pro also has a ¼ inch more aluminum skid plate than the standard model which makes the ride less-rough and also has the TRD-tuned springs for better passenger experience.

With respect to the design, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma Pro has exclusive interior shades and a TRD cat-back exhaust that makes the unit run better. All else about the standard unit may also be found in the Pro model. The unit was priced at least $41,700 for a manual and $43,700 for the automatic.

In other news, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma has also been increasing its sales. For the month of July, around 16,580 units were sold. The number of sales for the Toyota Tacoma is about five times more than its market rivals Colorados which only sold 9,195 and 3,532 for the Canyons. The increase in sales, however, had affected the market share of Toyota's pickups. The unit also performed slower compared to Nissan Frontier even if it only sold 7,244 mid-sized truck last July. In fact, the numbers indicated that there has been a 73% increase in the competition's performance, reported Torque News.

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma pickup has increased in sales for two consecutive months. However, its market share has declined. With the current values, will the 2016 Toyota Tacoma Pro increase the market share once more? Will it consistently increase the pickup sales of Toyota now that new specs have been added?
