2014 College Football Opening Week: 56 Games to Air on SiriusXM

SiriusXM has announced that it will air 56 live games for the opening week of the 2014 college football season, which runs from August 28 through September 1.

During the regular season, SiriusXM's college sports coverage will feature dozens of games each week from the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, American Athletic and Mountain West conferences, plus Notre Dame, Army, Navy, and many more, according to a company release.

The Week 1 schedule features every team from the Associated Press Top 25, including three Top 25 matchups: #21 Texas A&M at #9 South Carolina, #16 Clemson at #12Georgia, and #14 Wisconsin vs. #13 LSU.

SiriusXM College Sports Nation includes a team of expert hosts like former Heisman Trophy winners, National Championship winners, and former coaches and players. Hosts include Tim Brown, Eddie George, Gino Torretta, Gene Chizik, Greg McElroy, Gary Barnett, Dan Hawkins, Rick Neuheisel, Houston Nutt and Phil Savage.

SiriusXM College Sports Nation will also provide weekly interviews with some of the top head coaches including: Jimbo Fisher of Florida State, Mark Helfrich of Oregon, and Bob Stoops of Oklahoma.
