2015 Audi Q7 Available in Two New Packages

Audi has announced pricing for the new 2015 Q7 crossover, which starts at $48,625 with $925 in shipping fees.

The price reflects just a $30 increase compared with the previous model, Edmunds.com reported. The minor pricing bump stems from an increase in shipping charges. Scheduled to arrive at U.S. dealerships this summer, the Audi Q7 is a carryover model that features minor upgrades in the 2015 model year.

The crossover competes in its segment with the 2014-'15 BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and Porsche Cayenne, according to Edmunds.

New touches for the latest version include an exterior paint finish in the standard trim as well as two new optional packages: Off-Road Style plus and Sport Style plus.

In the Off-Road Style plus package, the crossover has "black-optic exterior elements, black roof rails, off-road-style fender flares, bumpers and stainless-steel skid plates" as well as 20-inch wheels and all-season tires. This package is available for Premium Plus Q7 models.

The Sport Style plus package is available for Prestige models. It includes "black roof rails, unique front and rear bumpers and fenders, oval exhaust outlets and 21-inch five-spoke design gloss black-finished wheels," according to Edmunds.

A luxury SUV, the Audi Q7 seats up to seven people and comes in 3.0T Premium, 3.0T Premium Plus, 3.0T S Line Prestige and TDI Premium trim levels. Additional features include a navigation system, a rearview camera, a surround-sound audio system and xenon headlights as well as such options as adaptive cruise control and a panoramic sunroof.
