Nissan has announced pricing for the new 2015 Versa Note, which is now available at dealerships.

The hatchback will start at $14,990, which includes an $810 shipping fee, Edmunds.com reported. The 2015 pricing reflects a $190 increase compared with last year's model.

The Versa Note competes in its segment with the 2015 Honda Fit, 2014 Ford Fiesta Hatchback and Kia Rio five-door.

In the base trim, the four-door hatchback has new standard equipment that includes Bluetooth. The hatchback has extra touches and features in the SR and SL trim levels.

The 2015 Nissan Versa Note SR is listed at $18,340 with destination fees, while the 2015 Nissan Versa Note SL starts at $18,770, including shipping, according to Edmunds.

In the SR trim, the hatchback includes "sporty front and rear fascias and a unique grille, dark headlight surrounds, fog lights, a rear spoiler, suede-like seats and 16-inch sport aluminum-alloy wheels," Edmunds reported.

The SL version has 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and for the interior, NissanConnect with mobile apps, a 5-inch color display, rearview camera, heated front seats and an adjustable floor.

For an additional $290, the Nissan owner can get the Chrome package, while a rear roof spoiler costs $310 extra.

According to the Edmunds review, the Nissan Versa Note isn't a frontrunner when it comes to driving dynamics, but the hatchback offers a roomy interior for a more affordable price.
