2015 Lincoln Navigator Has 'Two Dozen' Updates, Boosted Price

The Lincoln Navigator has gone through a major revamp for the 2015 version, which reflects a fairly hefty $5,000 price increase and "nearly two dozen upgrades" from the previous model.

The 2015 4x2 model starts at $62,472 with shipping charges, about $5,000 more than the outgoing model's listing price, Edmunds.com reported. The new Lincoln Navigator 4x4 starts at $66,050, which shows a $6,000 increase over the 2014 SUV.

Running on a new standard 380-horsepower 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, the updated Navigator features a split-wing grille outside and electronic updates inside, including push-button start and a blind-spot warning system.

"The 2015 Lincoln Navigator has nearly two dozen upgrades over the outgoing model, rewarding current Navigator owners and offering strong reasons for new customers to consider the vehicle that defined the large luxury SUV segment," said Lincoln's Matt VanDyke, as quoted by Edmunds.

Competing in its segment with the Cadillac Escalade, Lexus LX 570 and Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, the Lincoln Navigator is also available with the Reserve package.

The special trim version comes equipped with Lincoln Drive Control and 22-inch wheels as well as an upgraded interior in leather and with wood trim. With the Reserve package, the Navigator 4x2 has a price of $69,975, while the Navigator 4x4 begins at $72,900, according to Edmunds.

The updated Navigator should arrive at dealerships this fall.
