2014 GMC Acadia SUV Available For $35,410

The 2014 GMC Acadia SUV has been listed for a base price of $35,410, including a $925 shipping fee.

The price reflects just a $465 increase compared to the current 2013 model.

The vehicle is a carryover model with just a few minor changes.

Standard features found on the Acadia Denali include lane-departure warning systems and forward collision alert.

Lane-departure warning systems and forward collision alert are optional features on the Acadia SLT-1 and SLT-2.

Customers who chose the high-end Denali model will get more chrome, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and 20-inch machined aluminum wheels.

Two charging-only USB ports can be found on the rear of the center console for second-row use. The ports are new for 2014.

The Acadia competes with similar vehicles like the 2014 Dodge Durango, Honda Pilot and the Toyota Highlander.

The news comes the same day GM announced it was recalling over 50,000 vehicles due to a software issue that could cause the fuel gauge to read inaccurately.

The recall includes the GMC Acadia SUV.

GM's 2014 Chevrolet Traverse, and Buick Enclave SUVs are also involved in the recall.

"In the affected vehicles, the engine control module (ECM) software may cause the fuel gauge to read inaccurately," said NHTSA in its summary. "An inaccurate fuel gauge may result in the vehicle unexpectedly running out of fuel and stalling, increasing the risk of a crash."

No crashes or injuries have been linked to the recall yet.
