The price reflects a $250 price increase compared to the 2014 model.

The base MX-5 vehicle is equipped with a soft top, according to a company press release.

Mazda's midlevel 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata with a power retractable hard top starts at $29,460, including shipping.

The 2015 Mazda MX-5 Miata 25th Anniversary Edition has been priced at $33,000, including shipping.

Interested customers will only be able to purchase the vehicle with a power retractable hard top.

Mazda confirmed that the 25th Anniversary Edition model will be available for preorder starting on May 20.

Only 100 of the special-edition vehicles will be sold.

Currently, those who are looking to purchase the anniversary model can place their name in a queue to purchase one of the vehicles.

The preorder runs out either once 250 customers have registered for the preorder or by May 31.

Those who register will be contacted by the automaker to confirm their purchase intent, according to the release.

As if the car wasn't enough, those who purchase the 25th Anniversary Edition vehicle will also receive a custom Tourneau watch.

The 25th Anniversary Edition is only available in Soul Red Metallic exterior paint with Brilliant Black trim, according to Mazda.

Features include 25th Anniversary Edition badging and 17-inch Dark Gunmetal aluminum alloy wheels.

The cabin is fitted with Almond leather seats and door trim, according to Mazda.
