2014 Scion xB Release Series 10.0 Priced Before NY Auto Show Debut

Toyota has announced its 2014 Scion xB Release Series 10.0 will be sold for a base price of $21,175, including a $755 shipping fee.

The automaker made the announcement ahead of the Scion's debut on April 16 at the 2014 New York Auto Show.

The current 2014 Scion xB starts is sold for a base price of $17,725, including shipping.

Standard features include: conductive wireless charging, and a backup camera. It will be available with an automatic transmission only, according to the automaker.

The vehicle also comes with an updated steering wheel, vent rings, and center console.

The Scion xB RS 10.0 competes with similar vehicles like the 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, the Nissan Cube and the Kia Soul.

Only 1,500 Scion xB vehicles will be released.

More details will be revealed at the New York Auto Show.

Interested customers can expect the Scion to reach dealerships this summer.
