2014 New York Auto Show: 2015 Dodge Charger, Challenger Confirmed

Chrysler has confirmed its new 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger will debut later on this month at the 2014 New York Auto Show.

The 2015 Charger "receives a full-body makeover with nearly every single body panel being resculpted," Chrysler said in a statement.

A single teaser image of the 2015 Challenger shows the Scat Pack logo.

The 2015 Challenger "is new from the inside out for 2015 and features a new powertrain combination that is sure to get enthusiasts abuzz," the automaker said.

The two vehicles are slated to debut at the NY Auto Show on April 17.

The automaker is hoping that the Dodge Challenger will be able to compete with similar vehicles like the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang.

Meanwhile the new Charger will likely compete with the 2014 Chevrolet Impala, the Ford Taurus, and other similar vehicles.

The 2015 Charger and Challenger will hit dealerships sometime this fall.

Pricing and specifications for the two new vehicles has yet to be announced officially by the automaker.
