2014 New York Auto Show: 2014 Alfa Romeo Confirmed

Fiat has confirmed that is new 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C coupe will appear at the 2014 New York Auto Show next month.

The new Alfa Romeo 4C represents Italian automaker's return to the U.S.

Pricing has not been announced for the vehicle, but it will likely be available for around $70,000.

It's been almost 20 years since the previous Alfa Romeo was sold in the U.S.

"The recent announcement that Alfa Romeo is returning to the market and has chosen the New York Auto Show to mark the occasion is very special for us and will be well received by our visitors," said New York Auto Show Chairman John LaSorsa in a statement according to the automaker.

The vehicle will compete with similar vehicles like the 2014 Porsche Cayman and the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.

Fiat said that the first 1,000 models of the 4C will be known as the Launch Edition.

The Launch Edition will feature a sport exhaust, and LED headlights.

Expect the vehicle to hit U.S. dealerships sometime this November.
