2014 Nissan NV200 Priced at $21,100

Nissan has announced that its base 2014 Nissan NV200 S compact van starts will be sold for $21,100, including an $860 shipping fee.

The price is a $250 increase compared to the current model, according to the automaker.

The top-of-the-line 2014 Nissan NV200 SV is listed for a base price of $22,090, including shipping.

A Bluetooth hands-free phone option adds $250 to the base price of the NV200 S.

A custom cruise control package option adds $200 to the sticker price, while a back door glass package will cost $190 more, according to the automaker.

The NV200 comes equipped with a 131-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission.

The NV200 competes in the same segment as similar vehicles like the 2014 Ford Transit Connect and the Chevrolet City Express, which hasn't been released yet.

The City Express model goes on sale in the fall.

The City Express is actually a rebadged NV200 that is produced by Nissan thanks to a deal between the automaker and General Motors.

The carryover 2014 NV200 is on sale now, according to Nissan.
