2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo Priced at $151,585

Nissan has announced its new 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo will be available for a base price of $151,585, according to the automaker.

The new price, which makes the GT-R Nismo the most expensive GT-R in the lineup, includes a $1,595 shipping fee.

The vehicle is approximately $48,220 more expensive than the base 2-15 Nissan GT-R Premium model

The premium vehicle starts for $103,365, including shipping, according to Nissan. The price was revealed by the automaker last January.

Nissan expects the Nismo GT-R to compete with similar vehicles like the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and Porsche 911.

Nissan has called 600-hp model the "ultimate iteration" of the vehicle.

The GT-R Nismo is equipped with features like a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, 11-inch Bose sound system, and Recaro seats.

It also comes with enhanced aerodynamics and custom Nismo tuning, according to the automaker. The GT-R Nismo will be available for purchase on July 31.
