1987 Alfa Featured in 'Wolf of Wall Street' Up for Bid

The shiny 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio that makes an appearance in "The Wolf of Wall Street" could be all yours with the right bid.

The silver Alfa, which is seen the intro of the Oscar-nominated film, is currently an eBay auction item, Jalopnik reported.

The car was at $9,987 with the bidding reserve still unmet on Friday morning.

"This Alfa was used as a visual icon of 1987 Wall Street," the lot description reads. "Beyond excellent condition, mechanicals/electricals/interior perfect. Babied by 2nd owner for the past 14 years."

The convertible has a silver/gray exterior and a gray/red interior with leather seats. It runs on a four-cylinder aluminum engine and has a manual, five-speed transmission.

According to the auction description, the nearly mint car has been "pampered" by its second owner since 2000.

"Serviced by the finest Alfa heritage service centers in NY, it runs flawlessly and turns more heads/draws more attention here than any car on the road--bar none," the description reads.

Even though the owner describes the car as the "most visible" Alfa in the world, the car actually has only a small appearance in the Martin Scorsese-directed film.

"Yes, while this Alfa has been seen by many eyes, it does not have a starring role in the film at all; it's just a few seconds in the intro pulling up in front of a Wall Street building then that's it," Jalopnik noted.

Despite the small cameo, the car has been featured in promotional materials, including trailers for the film, which has received five Oscar nominations.
