iPhone 6 Release Date: New Apple Device Coming This June?

The next iPhone device will be made available a lot earlier than most Apple fans are used to, according to a new report by NBE.com

The report claims both a 4.7/4.8-inch device and a 5.5-inch iPhone will be made available this June, and will use IGZO displays instead of LTPS (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) screens.

LTPS are usually an industry standard, since they offer brighter resolutions and a longer battery life, but IGZO screens have become popular lately in large display markets.

In comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a 12.2 inch IGZO screen.

The same report also claims that the screen resolution will be 440ppi for the device under 5-inches, and 510 ppi for the 5.5-inch iPhone, according to NBE.com. This could be more proof that the iPhones will use IGZO screens since IGZO offers higher resolution.

An increase in RAM and an improved 3.2 MP front camera have also been mentioned in recent months by a number of media outlets.

The rear camera will likely remain at 8MP, according to the report.

At least three product packaging companies have received orders placed by Apple for a new A8 processor as well, including Amkor Technology, STATS ChipPAC and Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE), according to DigiTimes.

The next iPhone will likely be called the iPhone 6, and will be Apple's eighth smartphone device.

The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were both made available in September 2013 in the U.S. The popular iPhone 5 model was released in September 2012, meaning a June release date would be a big deal to smartphone fans everywhere.
