Black Widow's Corvette Stingray To Be Featured at Chicago Auto Show

A sleek black Corvette that was the chosen ride of a certain S.H.I.E.L.D. agent will be showcased at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show this week.

Driven by Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson) in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is a celebrated General Motors connection to the film, Motor Authority reported.

Johansson won't be appearing in Chicago beside the car, but Chevrolet will be giving out limited-edition "Captain America" comic books.

Marvel fans will know that S.H.I.E.L.D. is a fictitious government agency within the comic books' world. Other S.H.I.E.L.D. associates include Nick Fury and Tony Stark/Iron Man.

While S.H.I.E.L.D. staff frequently use Acuras to get around, Black Widow "appears to prefer American muscle," Motor Authority noted.

The studio has only released one image so far of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow driving the glossy Corvette, so it's difficult to tell if it has been modified for her agent work, Autoblog.com said.

Fourteen other models will join the Stingray for the Chevrolet exhibit, including the new Corvette Z06 and the Camaro Z/28.

The 2014 Chicago Auto Show will run Feb. 8-17 and will feature around 1,000 vehicles on display in more than 1 million square feet of the McCormick Place complex, according to the website.

Marvel teased the "Captain America" sequel during Super Bowl airtime with a new trailer that revealed that a character dies--but doesn't show who it is.

The trailer shows Johansson and Chris Evans (as Captain America) standing next to an apparent body under a white sheet, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The magazine listed evidence that the body could possibly be Nick Fury, but fans will have to found out for themselves when the movie hits theaters on April 4.
