2015 Kia K900 Priced at $60,400

Kia has announced its 2015 K900 with a V8 engine will be sold for $60,400, including a $900 shipping fee, according to a company press release.

The new full-size rear-wheel-drive sedan is set to hit showrooms during the first quarter of this year.

The K900 competes in the same segment as similar vehicles like the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S550 and the Lexus LS 460.

Pricing and the vehicle's official release date have not been revealed by the automaker for the base K900 model.

Once the K900 is released, Kia said it will unveil the K900 Premium V6.

"The K900 Premium V6 will launch at a later date with an available Luxury Package and Technology package," said Kia in a statement.

The base K900 is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine matted to an eight-speed automatic transmission, according to the news release.

An optional $6,000 VIP package available for the V8 model comes with features like power-reclining rear seats, a 16-way adjustable driver's seat, and advanced smart cruise control.
