iOS 7 Jailbreak Update: Apple’s Latest Beta Closes Evasi0n7 Exploits

Apple's latest iOS 7.1 beta update supposedly patches holes and exploits used for the Evasi0n 7 jailbreak, according to International Business Times.

It is unlikely that another evasi0n jailbreak will be released before iOS 7.1 is issued by Apple.

A number of people have commented on the social media site Reddit that their iOS devices were stuck in a "boot loop," meaning the new beta update makes Evasi0n 7 obsolete, according to the report.

An iOS security researcher and developer who goes by the Twitter handle MuscleNerd said most developers won't comment on the new beta, mainly because anything they say will only help Apple.

One developer, who goes by the Twitter handle Coolstar, has commented on beta 4, tweeting that the exploits used by the jailbreak have been patched earlier this week, as first reported by International Business Times.

Apple has not confirmed when iOS 7.1 will be released yet, but it is expected to debut sometime in March 2014, according to International Business Times.

A recent tweet sent out by iH 8snow claims that iOS 7.1 beta 4 expires on March 3 at 12:00 a.m.

So for those who wish to keep their Apple devices jailbroken, it would be wise not to use Apple's latest beta update. If you have already done so, you'll likely have to wait a few months to jailbreak your device again.
