2014 Super Bowl Commercial: Oscar Winner and 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe Star in New Spot

Jaguar has confirmed its 2014 Super Bowl commercial for its 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe will also feature a number of recognizable British actors like Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley.

The F-Type Coupe will go on sale this spring according to the automaker.

The Super Bowl advertisement is called "Rendezvous," which was designed to launch Jaguar's "British Villains" campaign.

The "Villains" campaign will run through July 2014. The first ad won't premiere until Jan 28 according to Jaguar.

"Brits often play the best villains in film," Jaguar said about the new commercial.

The new Jaguar F-Type will be available for a base price of $65,895, including $895 destination fee.

Jaguar has been posting teasers on its website to get people pumped for the new commercial, and released a 30-second spot during the NFL divisional playoffs this past weekend.

The teaser spot shows a 2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe speeding down a runway as Ben Kingsley waits with two cohorts.

The spot ends with a tagline, "You'll be hearing from us."

Kingsley won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie "Gandhi." He has played "bad guys" in a number of movies like "Iron Man 3" where he plated The Mandarin.

"Jaguar is truly a beloved British brand and it's exciting to help them make some noise as they debut in a beloved American event, the Super Bowl," said Kingsley in a statement. "As for being known for playing the roles of renowned villains, I'll have to ponder that one."
