The new 2015 Audi Q3, a SUV created to go up against vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class and BMW X, will hit dealerships this fall, according to Audi of America.

The Audi Q3 will make its formal debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Audi's new vehicle comes with safety features like rear side airbags, and six standard airbags.

Front-wheel drive comes standard with all base models, though all-wheel drive will also be offered for the vehicle, according to Audi.

Other optional features include Driver Assistance package that comes with Audi parking system with a rearview camera and side assist.

The new five-passenger Q3 comes with heated front seats, leather seating surfaces, and panoramic sunroof.

Audi confirmed that the vehicle is equipped with a 200-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed transmission.

Pricing has not been announced for the vehicle yet.
