The brand new 2014 Volkswagen Passat Sport will be available for a base price of $27,295, including an $820 destination fee.

The new Sport is a production version of the previously showcased Volkswagen Passat Performance Concept.

VW revealed the concept version at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

Three exterior colors will be made available for the new Sport model: Urano Gray, Candy White, and Tungsten Silver.

Base models are equipped with a five-speed manual transmission. Six-speed automatic transmission vehicles are sold for $28,495, according to VW.

Vehicles with the Candy White and Tungsten Silver options come with a black roofs and black mirror caps, according to VW.

VW has equipped the new model with features like 19-inch Luxor wheels sport comfort seats, stainless steel door sills, a rear spoiler, foglights, aluminum sport pedals, and custom floor mats, according to the automaker.

Automatic-transmission options come with paddle shifters.

The Passat Sport will go on sale in "early 2014" according to the automaker.
