The makers of "Fast & Furious 7" have supposedly asked Cody Walker to shoot the final scenes for his recently deceased brother Paul Walker.

"They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance and if it's a shot they need Paul's face in close up they can CGI it later on. If Cody agrees it's because he wants to honor his brother's memory. There are many details that still need to be worked out, but right now the family and cast and crew are all still grieving," said a source according to a report by Desimartini.com.

Paul, 40, was killed in a fiery car accident along with his business partner and friend Roger Rodas on Nov. 30 while returning from a charity event.

Shooting for the movie is scheduled to continue in January, though the original July 11 release date is currently in jeopardy.

The script is being rewritten for the seventh "Fast & Furious" film, according to Universal.

Paul's funeral was held on Dec. 14 in Santa Clarita, California. A memorial service was conducted at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills.

 "I thought they needed my strength but realized when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs. His mother hugged me and said I am so sorry. I said sorry? You're the mother who lost a son? She said yes, but you lost your other half," said fellow "Fast & Furious" actor Vin Diesel.

If Cody decides to complete to help complete the movie, he said he would do it out of respect for his deceased brother.

The official cause of Walker's death was determined this week and confirmed on his death certificate obtained by TMZ. The actor passed from "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries," meaning he didn't die from the impact of the crash alone.
