Kia to Debut 30-Second K900 Commercial During 2014 Super Bowl (VIDEO)

Kia has confirmed it will premiere a commercial for its new rear-drive K900 sedan during the 2014 Super Bowl.

The 30-second spot will cost the company $4 million, according to the automaker.

The car was revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and will hit showrooms during the first quarter of 2014.

Kia has said the vehicle, equipped with a base 3.8-liter, V-6 engine, will be sold for $50,000, according to Michael Sprague, executive vice president of marketing for Kia Motors America.

Models with the 5.0-liter V-8 will be sold for closer to $60,000, according to Sprague.

"The market is getting more and more fragmented, technology is going to play an even more pivotal role in the future which gives us an opportunity to enter a space that traditionally we wouldn't have had the opportunity to," said Tom Loveless, Kia's executive vice president of U.S. sales.

Kia is well-known for its Super Bowl commercials. The company debuted its "Space Babies' and "Hot Bot" ads during the 2013 game, and the "Mr. Sandman" spot in 2012.

This will be the first time the automaker will advertise its K900 during the biggest football game of the year however.

Make sure to keep a look out for the commercial during Super Bowl XLVII.
