Lamborghini decided to unveil its new Veneno Roadster on an Italian naval aircraft carrier in Abu Dhabi.

Lamborghini chose the aircraft carrier because the Middle East is one of its largest markets, according to a Lamborghini press release.

The debut has been called perhaps "the most dramatic automotive unveiling of the year" by Edmunds, and it's hard to disagree.

Guests in attendance for the debut included Giorgio Starace, Italian ambassador to the UAE and the Admiral of the High Seas Force Paolo Treu, according to Lamborghini.

"We are honored that we have the opportunity to show the Veneno Roadster for the first time in Abu Dhabi," Stephan Winkelmann, the president and CEO of Lamborghini, said, according to The Telegraph. "Lamborghini has an extremely strong following in the region, with the Middle East one of our largest markets in the world."

The Veneno Roadster will have a production run of just nine vehicles, making it one of the most exclusive cars in the world.

Lamborghini's new car will be sold for $4.5 million. The company says it has a 0-62 mph time of just 2.9 seconds, and a top speed of 220.5 mph.

The Roadster weighs around 3,285 lbs. and runs on an all-wheel-drive system.

Lamborghini based the car on its Aventador Roadster, but it'll be sold for approximately ten times more than the Aventador.

The2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP700 Roadster is available for $444,595.
