2014 Nissan Sentra Finally Priced, Will be Sold For $16,800

Nissan has revealed the base price for its 2014 Nissan Sentra.

The base 2014 Sentra will be sold for $16,800, including an $810 destination fee,

The newly announced price represents no increase compared to the base 2013 model.

But the fuel-efficient 2014 Sentra FE+S CVT will be available for $18,000, including shipping. This reflects a $200 price increase compared to its predecessor.

The 2014 Nissan Sentra FE+SV CVT starts at $18,700, including shipping, or $100 more than the 2013 model.

The Sentra was completely redesigned for the 2013 model year.

Nissan's new Sentra is expected to compete with the Ford Focus, Honda Civic and Hyundai Elantra, according to Edmunds.

The 2014 model is equipped with options like NissanConnect which includes new NissanConnect Apps for smartphones like iPhone and Android. This will allow users to connect with Pandora, iHeartRadio and social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.

The Sentra will also come with Nissan's fuel-efficient 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, which delivers an estimated 34 mpg combined, according to the automaker.
