Lamborghini Gallardo Production Ends After 10-Years, Last Model Revealed (PHOTO)

The last Lamborghini Gallardo has rolled off the assembly line at its production factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese, according to the automaker.

Lamborghini confirmed that the final Gallardo to be produced is a LP 570-4 Spyder Performante in a "Rosso Mars."

A private collector is expected to recieve the vehicle, which will likely spend most of its time in a garage, according to Edmunds.

The automaker produced 14,022 Gallardos over the last decade, according to the automaker.

The Gallardo, which was introduced in 2003, was an important car for the automaker as it transitioned from making only 250 a year to around 2,000.

The first Gallardo was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show 10 years ago

A second generation model, released in 2008, was highly anticipated and came with a number of new features like a 570 hp engine.

Lamborghini released both coupe and open Gallardos options over the last decade, with all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive.

The automaker has produced over 30,000 vehicles since 1963.
