DNA, Video Evidence Proves Bigfoot is Real? (WATCH)

Researchers are claiming to now have DNA and video evidence that Bigfoot is real, according to a report by the Sasquatch Genome Project.

The group's footage of an alleged Bigfoot-like creature was presented this week along with blood and hair samples unlike anything ever seen.

Statements made by the group have been backed by 11 outside laboratories and universities, which have reviewed the findings according to the Sasquatch Genome Project.

"We want people to understand that this is a serious study," Dr. Melba Ketchum, a genetics scientist, who led the project during the course of the five-year study, said to CBS DFW.

Others have debated Ketchum's credibility since the announcement, including New York University. Ketchum claims NYU's laboratory tested a field sample and found it having "unusual human mitochondrial results."

The issue with that statement is NYU claims to have never dealt with Ketchum, nor did they accept any data or samples from the Genome Project.

Findings presented in the report, which was first published over the winter, include photos of coarse horse-like hair and at least one tissue sample believed to be from a real Sasquatch.

Another photo shows what the group believes to be drops of blood and large marks from "fangs" which supposedly punctured a metal downspout, according to the report.

"Approximately one hundred and thirteen separate samples of hair, blood, mucus, toenail, bark scrapings, saliva and skin with hair and subcutaneous tissue attached were submitted by dozens of individuals and groups from thirty-four separate hominin collection sites around North America," the report explains.

Thanks to a large $500,000 donation by Bigfoot believer Adrian Erickson, the researchers were able to scientifically analyze all samples collected.

A video of what has been described as "a reddish brown Sasquatch juvenile" sleeping in the woods after being tracked with her mother has been released to the public and since gone viral.
