NASCAR driver and Go-Daddy spokeswoman Danica Patrick will join singer Trace Adkins as co-host of the "American Country Awards" on Dec. 10.

The show will air live on FOX in Las Vegas from the Mandalay Bay hotel, according to the Associated Press.

Patrick has been a fan of country music since joining the NASCAR circuit, and has appeared in music videos for artists like Colt Ford and Miranda Lambert.

"I'm so excited to host the American Country Awards with Trace Adkins," Patrick said in a press statement. "I have no doubt he'll be able to keep up with me. I've become a huge fan of country music since I came to NASCAR. This is going to be a really cool experience, and I'm excited to be a part of it."

The NASCAR rookie has never hosted a full-length TV show, but has experience in the entertainment industry. She's appeared in commercials for a number of different companies like for her sponsor Go Daddy.

Patrick's employer, Stewart-Haas Racing, teased Patrick on the team's Twitter account.

Adkins has co-hosted the event since it began four years ago. Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth was his co-host in 2012.
