Kanye West Spends $2 Million for Two Armored Vehicles for Kim Kardashian, Baby North

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian reportedly shelled out over $2 million on two armored Prombron Iron Diamond "kidnap-prof" SUVs according to the Daily Star.

The couple also spent $400,000 on a Chevrolet Kodiak, nicknamed "Limo One," after President Barack Obama's limo.

The vehicles are "made to withstand attacks from landmines and rocket-propelled grenade," according to the Daily Star.

"Kanye is fully aware that his new family is so high-profile they attract the attention of weirdos and psychopaths," a source said to the Daily Star. "He aims to leave nothing to chance."

Kanye wanted to make sure Kim and his baby would be safe before embarking on his U.S. tour in October.

Jay-Z was the one who reportedly suggested Kanye "beef up security" for his family according to the Daily Mail. The couple has also hired two bodyguards and will used body doubles as decoys to avoid paparazzi.

Kanye has yet to confirm if a kidnap threat has been made, but that's clearly what he and Kim are worrying about with the addition of their three new vehicles.

"If there have been any kidnapping threats already against their daughter, he isn't saying. But that fear is clearly in his mind," the source added to the Daily Star.

West's new album "Yeezus" debuted at number one in 31 different countries according to Billboard. He'll also be appearing in "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" which premieres this December.
