Jamie Lee Curtis Injured During Car Crash, Calls Jodie Foster For Help (PHOTOS)

Jamie Lee Curtis was involved in a car accident on Aug. 1 in Venice, California.

The crash was bad enough that she and the person driving the vehicle were taken to a local hospital via ambulance according to TMZ.

Before being taken into the ER, Curtis called fellow actor and Oscar winner Jodie Foster, who TMZ claims showed up before the ambulance even arrived.

The driver and Curtis were taken to separate hospitals.

The driver was operating a black Yukon SUV when it crashed into a BMW according to TMZ.

Curtis, known for her roles in "Halloween" and "Freaky Friday" was released shortly after with minor injuries and is home resting.

Foster can next be seen in the sci-fi movie "Elysium," set to be released next week on Aug. 9 according to IMDB.com.
