‘Fast and Furious 7’ Cast, Release Date Rumors: Halle Berry, Rihanna, Taylor Lautner to Play Key Roles in Next Movie? (VIDEO)

"Fast & Furious 7" is scheduled to start filming in September and big name celebrities like Rihanna, Taylor Lautner, and Halle Berry could be joining the cast.

Berry has been rumored to appear in a number of "Fast & Furious" films but has still yet to do so. Rapper and "Fast & Furious" regular Ludacris said in an interview with HNGN recently that he has no idea who will be in the next movie but he'd love to see the former Oscar winner join the cast.

"I have no idea, but I'm hoping for Halle Berry, but we'll see what happens. (The crew) always seem to surprise even us sometimes," Ludacris said according to HNGN during an interview "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" show.

Ludacris isn't the only one who feels that way. Co-star Tyrese Gibson also wants the 46-year-old actress to appear in the next movie.

"She does these big franchise type movies," Gibson said according to HNGN. "We've seen Jordana pregnant, she's pregnant right now. We could really make use of Halle Berry in this movie. Give me some of that Halle Berry bottom lip c'mon."

Lautner meanwhile has been telling people he wants to have a career similar to Tom Cruise and joining a franchise like "Fast & Furious" is one of his ideas to "jump start" his action career.

"Grown Ups 2 will be big this summer and he wants to bounce off that success with getting himself into Fast & Furious," the source said to Hollywood Life.

Filming is scheduled to take place in locations like Tokyo and the Middle East according to actor Vin Diesel.

"We're definitely going back home, as you know from seeing Fast and Furious 6" said Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto, according to Digital Spy. "We will have a stint in Tokyo and there is the Middle East next, that could be very interesting."

Actress Michelle Rodriguez said last month that filming for the next movie starts in September and if all goes according to plan the new movie should be out by July.

"They just announced that 'Fast & Furious 7' shoots in September and will release in 2014 next year in July," said Rodriguez while on the show "Cafecito."

Multiple media outlets like ScreenCrush.com have said Universal is planning on releasing the movie on July 11, a fact not yet confirmed by the movie studio.
