The 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 has been spotted while doing laps at the Nurburgring track. The automaker also posted an official video teasing the upcoming debut tomorrow, June 28 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Spy photos for the upcoming 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 are now circulating the web. Prior to its official launch, the new beast showed off its powers on the tracks of Nurburgring.

The spied mule still hides under heavy wraps. However, some aspects can be pin-pointed from the spy photos. The images show the charged fenders housing widened wheels. This is actually from OZ Racing.

Also noticeable are the quad-exhaust tips at the rear section and the tight-fitted aero kit that sports one massive rear wing. The spy photos also reveal the new sedan has carbon-ceramic brakes.

Jaguar also posted a video showing the new model while testing in Nurburgring. The automaker took to its official Twitter account the official teaser video showing the prototype in heavy camouflage while speeding off in the track.

The caption on the official tweet also teased that the upcoming 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is "the most powerful and performance #Jaguar ever." The tweet also announced that the design of the new model will be finally witnessed tomorrow, June 28.

The automaker has previously released a statement saying they are developing a new model that can deliver 600 hp and that it will also take its inspiration from the XE sedan. Jaguar calls it the "XE SV Project 8" and it will be a special limited edition model.

Jaguar further announced that the XE SV Project 8 sedan will be limited to 300 units only. The automaker has planned that output for the worldwide consumption already.

The automaker has not confirmed the release of the 2018 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 in the U.S. We will report more details that will be confirmed when the special limited edition sedan is launched tomorrow.
