Why 2018 Honda Odyssey Is Your Quintessential Family Minivan

The 2018 Honda Odyssey is considered the best minivan there is. Well, it is easy to understand why as it did not shy away from the comforts one expects to get in a minivan. Though minivans are not immediately chosen as a family vehicle, the Odyssey may change all that.

People are somehow veering away from minivans as it suggests family and nothing else. Though there is nothing wrong with that, having a minivan suggests having a boring and unexciting life. Well, this is definitely not the case. The 2018 Honda Odyssey kicks up a notch to provide features to break free from the stigma.

For one, its versatile "Magic Slide" seats give a feeling of customized interior. It moves and slides according to one's desires. It does boast of unparalleled safety features for having front-row knee airbags.

It comes with Honda Sensing suite on all except for the LX trim. The LX has driver-assist functions such as forward collision warning, emergency braking for collision mitigation, and much more.

The Odyssey's cabin is all about ingenuity. Aside from the "Magic Slide" has power sliding rear doors and grab a handle and outboard seat pivots sideways along lateral floor tracks. The outboard chairs also have "Buddy mode" with a pair of seats squeezed together for an easy reach and accessibility.

Such innovation makes industry experts question why this has not been done before. Well, it is fine. As they say, "Let Honda take care of this" and take care of it, they did. Its 2018 Honda Odyssey steps up the game in all of the minivans, giving intense competition to the likes of Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Caravan, and Toyota Sienna.

The 2018 Honda Odyssey also takes on a new character for having new LED head- and taillights. Its grille also closely resembles that of Pilot's and other recent Honda offerings. This is one good choice for a minivan.

Having a 2018 Honda Odyssey doesn't make one feel like having just any other minivan. It is like being in a cabin exciting enough to make kids think they are in a private jet or something- just let imagination take charge and boring is definitely out of the way.
