2019 Hyundai Santa Cruz: Bigger In Size And In Power?

Hyundai is at it again! It has given us an impressive small Kona and now it is again talked about. If it went small on Kona, its pickup, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Cruz gets bigger and better. Or is it really the case? As the size, weight and power are of the essence in terms of vehicles, Hyundai sure is not to be left behind the race.

The 2019 Hyundai Santa Cruz is reported to go neck-and-neck against Toyota Tacoma and Chevrolet Colorado. These have considerably done a good job in reviving the midsized pickup truck popularity. However, the success of these two may just be short-lived.

"2019 Hyundai Santa Cruz, enter the scene, stage right!" This may be the line worthy to introduce Hyundai's Pickup addition to the competition. Industry experts expect the Santa Cruz to be the leading of its kind as it gets officially introduced and launched. Is this really the case?

The 2019 Hyundai Santa Cruz first made heads turn as it was presented at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Two years later, it has been predicted that the concept model is to start production without many changes. However, the production version may not have the rear half-door design. It may have the overall silhouette of the concept model which loses some of its futuristic details.

The 2019 Santa Cruz is expected to be powered by a four-cylinder turbodiesel, which also powers some Genesis-badged models. Industry experts also predict Hyundai's Pickup to have crossover-like suspension. This translates to more refined ride and is able to perform top-notch off-roading and towing capabilities. Move over Jeep Wrangler, Santa Cruz is here? Well, not quite, but no one knows exactly.

The 2019 Hyundai Santa Cruz is considered a Tucson-based lifestyle pickup. It may actually be available five years after the concept has been presented back in 2015. The year 2020 should be interesting to witness what the Santa Cruz is capable of delivering in reality.
