2018 Ford Expedition Is The Ultimate Towing Machine!

The full-size 2018 Ford Expedition is re-engineered version of Ford Expedition SUV. It is considered the ultimate in more ways than one. From all of its capabilities, its towing capacity takes center stage!

The 2018 Ford Expedition is definitely the best in its class (full-size SUV) in terms of its towing power! It has a rating of 9,300 pounds, considered as more than any other full-size SUV. This is advantageous for the many Ford Expedition owners. It is reported that around 50 percent of Expedition owners value its towing capacity.

According to the study, 15 percent of Ford Expedition owners perform tasks involving towing on either weekly or monthly basis. Obviously, Ford is fast to cash in on this need. Truly, the company has succeeded.

Aside from its excellent and impressive towing capacity, the 2018 Expedition is bigger BUT lighter. It does come with more aluminum-intensive architecture. This then translates to significant weight loss of up to 300 pounds.

Car enthusiasts and industry experts receive this development with much excitement. Ford has done an excellent job mixing both weight loss and increase in size through the upcoming Expedition.

The 2018 Expedition does retain Ford's EcoBoost-branded turbocharging and direct fuel injection technologies. However, the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 has been replaced with an updated second-generation version found in 2017 F-150. It is expected to be capable of producing 375-horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

Another interesting update is that it comes with a rear seat entertainment system with dual screens. It also has an available panoramic sunroof which has the length of two rows. Ford Sync 3 infotainment system does make a comeback to the Expedition, which can be paired with a premium 12-speaker audio system by Bang and Olufsen's JV team called "B&O Play."

The 2018 Ford Expedition does wow everyone with its advanced safety features. It comes with active lane control, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, blind spot monitors and much more. It also has Ford's trailer Assist that guides drivers back up their trailers.
