Will 2020 Ford Bronco Crush Jeep Wrangler Upon Release?

The 2020 Ford Bronco is coming three years from now and already, it is making waves. This is one highly anticipated off-roader as it is expected to face-off and compete with Jeep Wrangler neck-and-neck and head-on.

Should the Jeep Wrangler be scared of the 2020 Ford Bronco? Will the Bronco give Jeep Wrangler a run for its money? Well, it looks like it really will. Many off-roaders tried its best to compete with the Wrangler. While some have successfully shaken it, overall, the Wrangler is still left unopposed.

For one, the 2020 Bronco is expected to have incredible and powerful engines. Industry experts and car enthusiasts see the possibility of it being powered by a 5.0-liter V-8 Coyote motor. It may not necessarily come with this type of engine, but it should be a viable option.

The 2020 Bronco is built on the 2019 Ford Ranger frame. The European Ranger is a good basis for the Bronco's dimensions. It comes with 126.8-inch wheelbase with a 73.2-inch wide body. Another interesting news states that the U.S.-market Bronco comes almost identical as the Ford Everest.

This news, however, is unconfirmed. Such news came from a Redditor who claims to be a designer at Ford's Product Development Center in Dearborn. The Redditor then continued saying that the 2020 Ford Bronco is only available as four-door SUV. Again, this report has yet to be carefully studied and investigated.

The 2020 Bronco's price is also expected to be highly competitive. It is reported to be priced around the range of Jeep Wrangler. The price of the Jeep Wrangler has been steadily growing, which makes it more expensive in every sense of the word. The current Wrangler JK Unlimited starts at $28,000.

Given this trend, the 2020 Ford Bronco may be priced ranging from $30,000 to $45,000, which is dependent on its trim and options. Any competition should shake one up, right? Any off-roader that attempted to compete with the Jeep Wrangler may have shaken the company up, even just a bit.

The ultimate battle of the off-roaders, however, may actually come to fruition as the 2020 Ford Bronco gets officially released in 2020. FCA still has three years to come up with their answer to the Bronco. The year 2020 may be the time THESE two face-offs, pretty much like Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali's fight back in 1975!
