2017 Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder Spy Shots Tease A Very Promising Superfast Convertible

The 2017 Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder has been spied on the road with too little cover and with the roof uncovered. The new supercar appears to be a very promising superfast convertible.

The new Huracan Performante prototype was spotted with a lot of new designs. The mule showed up with a sticker on the edge of the doors. It appears that the stripes of the Italian flag have been an inspiration on the decoration at the bottom of the doors that complements the new model's orange body paint.

Furthermore, the new Lamborghini chased the roads with a drop-top. The prototype also stood out with its outstanding aero package. The new Spyder can produce significant performance gains from its aerodynamic efficiency and active aero.

Under the hood, the new Spyder is expected to run with a 5.2-liter V10 engine. However, the engine in the spied mule appears to have been mated with a lighter exhaust at a higher exit. This setup can deliver 631 hp, which is 30 hp more than the coupe version.

Sources claim that the new Huracan is expected to produce 600Nm of torque. With its lighter roof, this new supercar can most likely reach 100kmph in only 3.1 seconds or hit the 200kmph mark in about 9.2 seconds.

Meanwhile, the spotted prototype of the new Spyder came out with a little disguise from the rear top of the model. It seems that there is something new in store on the design of the rear window that the automaker is yet to unveil in the coming days.

The 2017 Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder is speculated to come out with a $294,000 (£230,000) price tag. Speculations circulate that the new supercar will probably take center stage at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
