OnePlus 5: Learn About The LATEST Developments On This Incredible Device

As early as now, this upcoming wonder, the OnePlus 5 is already making a lot of noise. This fact is even more noteworthy as the company has not been doing much to market the device just yet. It is making noise on its own and it is easy to understand why.

For one, the OnePlus 5 is expected to be Samsung S8's toughest competitor alongside iPhone 8, which is also making waves online. The OnePlus 5 is expected to surpass the capabilities of Samsung S8 significantly.

In what way? Well, its display is expected to be 5.5-inch with 2560 x 2440 pixel QHD resolution. It may be less than Samsung S8's screen but fares well based on pixels per inch rating. The One Plus 5 is also reported to come with dual cameras — something that Samsung S8 doesn't have. This is impressive considering the fact that such an affordable device is able to deliver photo and video quality as good as the S8.

The OnePlus 5 is confirmed to come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 8GB of RAM. There are also rumors suggesting that there will be 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage to be offered.

Its battery capacity is expected to perform considerably better. It is rumored that it may range from 3000 mAh to 4000 mAh. Given that it is a smaller device compared to its predecessors, it may not take most of its battery power, hence extended battery life.

Thankfully, everyone anticipating the actual fruition of OnePlus 5 is just around the corner. It is confirmed to be launched at an exclusive event in India on June 22, 2017. The event will be in Mumbai at 2 p.m. local time.

Fans and industry experts only have more than a week to finally see how the OnePlus 5 looks like. This is the best opportunity to confirm or dispel the leaks and rumors that have surfaced several times pertaining to this upcoming device. It may not be as grand as Samsung S8's launch earlier this year, however, it is still expected to rake in a lot of eager fans' attendance.
