2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup LATEST: Aluminum Components Equate To Excellent Performance!

The Jeep Wrangler is an all-time favorite, all-American off-roader. It has proven its worth over the course of several years and shows no signs of stopping. The Wrangler is more than capable, no doubt about it. With the addition of 2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup, excitement has definitely gone on overdrive.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup has been spied several times even before. However, the recent sightings prove that it is much closer to production. It is still heavily camouflaged as expected but eagle-eyed spies are able to derive few hints here and there.

It can be concluded that the Wrangler Pickup features a four-door passenger compartment with a small rear bed. The heavy camouflage also did not conceal its unique hardtop with large rear window. Even better, the Wrangler Pickup is expected to use a good number of aluminum components for significant weight loss.

It goes without saying that weight loss translates to either impressive or disappointing performance of any off-roader. Obviously, this upcoming pickup is geared to perform its best and most optimum. Coming in predominantly aluminum is a natural and expected progression.

Jeep recently mentioned that the all-new Wrangler is available with supercharged 2.0-liter with a 2.8-liter turbodiesel and 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6. An all-new eight-speed automatic gearbox is also offered in the lineup. Given this, the pickup may well "pick up" from these.

The aluminum components are taken from the same treatment given to the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. If reports are confirmed, it may well be the latest Wrangler, only coming in as a pickup. However, that doesn't take away the excitement towards the Wrangler Pickup.

It comes with entirely different flavor and character as compared to the Jeep Wrangler. The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Pickup is certainly made for those who take off-roading seriously. Not only does it come fully capable, its extra space at the back may also be utilized for other more purposes.
