A man publicly destroyed his Maserati Quattroporte with a sledgehammer at the Qingdao International Auto Show due to "bad repair service."

The owner of the vehicle hired multiple men to help him destroy his car with sledgehammers on May 14 according to Car News China. The incident took place at 10:30 a.m., right in front of the exhibition hall.

The owner of the car stated in an interview that Maserati China, and his insurance agency are all "guilty" of fraud for messing up standard repair work to his car.

The Quattroporte reportedly cost 2.6 million yen in China, or $430,000 USD according to Car News China.

The man reportedly took the vehicle back to the dealership he purchased it from to fix an issue and without his approval they used second-hand parts.

To make matters worse they also didn't repair all the issues with the vehicle according to Car News China.

A similar incident took place back in 2011 when a man protested his dissatisfaction with Lamborghini China by destroying his expensive car as well.

Maserati has yet to respond regarding the incident as of press time.
