2017 iPad Pro Coming Out In 10.5-inch Variant? With Three Microphones Too?

2017 iPad Pro will most likely come out in three sizes. Recent leaks seem to confirm the new variant of the much-awaited device, aside from the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch models. A 10.5-inch variant is reportedly on production based on the recently leaked photos.

A certain leaker Benjamin Geskin has posted on his Twitter account yesterday the allegedly leaked photos for the upcoming 10.5-inch iPad Pro. According to his tweet, the photos show the model of the new iPad Pro that manufacturers have acquired for the case of the new device. He even mentioned that it is "100% confirmed. Already in mass production."

Looking at the alleged leaked photos, the new device will have a similar iPad design. The home button can be spotted in the case, which hints that the new device will not be like the iPhone 8 that has no home button.

The noticeable revision is the size of the bezels. It seems that the new iPad Pro will have smaller bezels on the side, top and bottom.

In another tweet, the leaker also took note of the total number of microphones for the new iPad Pro. There are additional two microphones on the top of the case, which makes a total of three microphones for the new iPad.

Previously, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple is planning to launch three new iPads, namely the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2, the cheaper 9.7-inch iPad and the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The recently leaked photos of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro seem to confirm the addition of the new variant in the lineup of tablets of Apple.

Meanwhile, Apple has not confirmed the official release date for the highly anticipated 2017 iPad Pro. Many speculate that the new device will have its grand debut in the upcoming 2017 WWDC event next month.
