Telltale’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 3 Finale Poster Revealed; Is Kate Dead Or Not?

"The Walking Dead" Season 3 titled "A New Frontier" has been announced to be released on May 30. The poster seems to have also revealed a major spoiler regarding the fate of the beloved character, Kate.

Telltale made the announcement via the official Facebook account of "The Walking Dead: The Game." The announcement was published with a poster of the final season with its title. The post was captioned with the release date of the new game. According to the caption, the finale season will be ready for download beginning on Tuesday, May 30.

The announcement also mentioned that the new gameplay trailer will be released next week. It also teased cthat another video will be released next week, which will feature insights from some of the creative leads of the project.

Furthermore, the poster of the announcement seemed to give out a major spoiler for the upcoming season finale. The poster hinted that Kate is already dead because of her zombie image magnified in the poster.

Various reactions from the fans of the game were spotted in the Facebook post. Many were disappointed with the major spoiler. Whereas, some other fans seemed to have already accepted the fact that Kate would never have survived the fatal vehicular explosion she has been through in the previous season.

An interesting theory, however, can also be spotted from the comments of the "The Walking Dead" fans. One fan speculates that Telltale may have intended to include a zombie image of Kate to lead fans to believe that she has met her demise, but then later in the finale, the game will feature Kate back to have actually survived the fatal vehicular explosion.

What do you think of the poster for the finale season of Telltale's "The Walking Dead?" Do you think Kate will appear as a zombie in the upcoming season? Or did she survive the fatal vehicular explosion?
