The Maserati Levante seems to be a hit among many aftermarket companies because tuners such as Startech and Mansory are already selling parts like engine upgrades and body kits for the luxury crossover. Novitec now has a second set of improvements for the Levante, and it's even more aggressive than the last ones.

Same with Novitec's previous Levante, the firm's newest effort will add a new wide body kit to the crossover. Its bulging fenders look awesome and appear like they came from the factory.

The new body kits add 3.9 inches (10 centimeters) of width at the front axle and widen the rear by 4.7 inches (12 centimeters). The components other upgrades include a bigger piece of carbon fiber for accentuating the hood and a small extension just below the front bumper. At the rear, a new spoiler and diffuser add a more aggressive look to the car.

In addition, Novitec also retunes the Maserati Levante's air suspension for slicing an inch (25 mm) off the ride height, and now hunkers down over a set of new 22-inch wheels. The tires are 295/30 in front and 335/25 in the rear, which is enough to provide a lot of rubber.

When it comes to performance, the Levante is powered by a 3.0-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine that produces 487 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque. The said engine usually produces 345 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque in the U.S.-market Levante, and 424 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque in the Levante S.

Novitec also said that the Levante could accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.8 seconds, beating the Levante S by just 0.2 seconds. Novitec is also offering customers tuning options for the Levante's 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, which isn't available in the U.S.

Meanwhile, Maserati is reportedly preparing to build its high output version of the Levante. The new version is expected to get the 3.8-liter Biturbo V8 engine the produces 523 hp and 524 lb-ft of torque in the current Quattroporte GTS.
