2019 Audi A8 Confirmed July 11 Reveal; Will Be In Showrooms Next Year As 2019 Model

The 2019 Audi A8 has been recently spied once again. Such spotting definitely sustains excitement as the latest A8 is set to be publicly introduced in the summer of this year. Industry experts and enthusiasts alike are looking forward to see what it has to offer.

The 2019 Audi A8 is confirmed to have its official debut on July 11. However, it will only be made available next year as the 2019 model. The upcoming A8 is reported to be the first model to be styled under Marc Lichte. He took over the design reins at Audi back in 2013.

The size of the upcoming A8 has not been significantly changed compared to the current A8, however, its nose looks a little bit longer. It will also be riding on MLB platform, which is also used by Volkswagen in some of its vehicles. The latest MLB platform, which is also used by Volkswagen Touareg, provides significant weight reduction contributing to better performance and handling.

The 2018/2019 A8 Hybrid is set to be out for its spring market release. This is reported to be the only hybrid vehicle in its class in Europe. It boasts of powerful and cost-effective power plant with a longer wheelbase. The 2018/2019 Audi A8 can drive on electric without the use of internal combustion engine for up to three kilometers at a speed of 60 kph.

Another interesting Audi is also being talked about. The 2019 Audi S8 has been spotted being tested in the snow in the Arctic region of Northern Europe. It was first spotted back in September 2016 as it was tested at Nurburgring.
