2017 SsangYong Korando: A Decent Family SUV

The 2017 SsangYong Korando is one of the awaited models this year. It is showcased with a new stylish and modern front end design with an upgraded equipment. The model's fresh face tends to make things more aggressive on the front end compared to today's version.

This Korando sports a unique new grille and headlight which adopts the new SsangYong appearance as first seen on the Tivoli, Tivoli XLV, and the new Rexton. Other features also include 11 high-luminescent LED lamps for daytime running lights with separate lenses for improved visibility, and a new steering wheel with a new ergonomically designs.

There are four available trim levels for this car model. One can have the two-wheel drive SE for £17,000, SE 4x4 for £18,500, ELX 4x4 for £22,000, and the ELX that comes with an automatic transmission for £23,500.

The 2017 SsangYong Korando is a popular vehicle for those drivers who are in need of towing a caravan, a boat trailer or a horsebox with its 2-tonne towing capacity. As for the car's interior space, it offers plenty of legroom for all passengers. With its generous boot space and almost entirely flat floor, this car offers room for a couple of large dogs or a large leisure equipment.

All models of the Korando comes with electrically operated and heated door mirrors with puddle lamps, as well as air conditioning, tinted glass, roof rails, RDS radio and iPod, and Bluetooth connectivity. For the ELX trim level, it comes with an additional front, and rear parking sensors, 7" touchscreen, a rear-view camera, RDS radio and TomTom sat nav, heated steering wheel, heated leather front and rear seats, and a new 18 inches diamond-cut wheels.

The new 2017 SsangYong Korando performs on the road with its turbocharged Euro 6 compliant 2.2-liter diesel engine that offers a maximum 178ps and 400Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or an optional 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission for a dynamic gear changing, comfortable driving, and a quick acceleration that comes with a front-wheel-drive or an intelligent on-demand all-wheel drive system.
