Techart’s 30th Anniversary Marks The 750 Horsepower Of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

Porsche Cayenne remained as the controversial vehicle for over a decade now. It was always a question for everyone if an SUV like the Turbo S can be a real Porsche.

In line with the 30th anniversary of Porsche's well-known Tuner, TechArt, the team has offered their great ideas to the Cayenne Turbo S. The said model showcases its twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 engine that can provide over 570 of horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque in stock form.

TechArt is the one that offers tuning packages, body kits, wheels, and other car accessories for every Porsche model that also includes lower-level versions of the Cayenne, such as the non-S Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne GTS, and the Cayenne Diesel. However, the mentioned Porsche models haven't been available in the U.S. since Porsche was implicated in the Volkswagen diesel scandal two years ago.

The only part of Porsche's big SUV that has been subject to numbers of changes is the engine. Another factor that muscles up the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is the body kit applied by the tuner which is more aggressive and at the same time can be optionally had in carbon fiber for some of its bits and pieces.

The car also comes with body panels which are newly developed. Rounding off the comprehensive package are some goodies inside the two-tone cabin that is fitted with carbon fiber and plenty of leather.

For the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, the trusted Tuner was able to find a way in squeezing an extra 150 of horsepower and 88 lb-ft of torque out of the car's V8 engine which now has a total rate of 720 of horsepower and 678 lb-ft of torque. These improvements are achieved with some changes made to the exhaust system, turbochargers, and engine control software. In addition, TechArt also modifies the oil and coolant systems and has added a performance air filter.
